Flu update - winter 2011

Right now there is a fungal flu doing the rounds, not just the usual runny nose. You will know if it is fungal as there will be greenish and or yellowish mucus. I have found, the best way to treat this type of infection is with Rosehip, it is a natural vitamin C, which also doubles as an anti inflammatory.
Peppermint or Chamomile tea is good to have with this type of flu, as they are anti fungals.
Organic Essential oil massaged into the top and soles of the feet, then on the hands and breathed in deeply 5 – 7 times twice a day or you can place a few drops of the oils into boiling water then breathe them in that way – this way opens up the airways well.
The Organic Essential oils to use are Citronella, Eucalyptus Citriodora, Peppermint – choose one of these together with Eucalyptus Radiata.  For young Children you can combine one of the Eucalypts with Lavender
Very Important - Stay off all sweeteners, concentrated fruit juices, dried fruit, dairy and wheat.  Sugar feeds fungal problems and dairy and wheat weaken the immune system.

You can buy the Rosehip and oils from me - phone 07 49302030
